Plan your tank
How far does a tank go?
Tell us how many drinks you make and what kind. We work out how many a full tank gives and about how often you will refill it.
Each band is about one day of drinks, from the top down.
Estimate
About 33 double shots per full tank
At 2 a day, refill about every 16 days.
Water use: about 4 oz a day.
Estimate: the tank also supplies steam and rinse water, so real life will vary.
The assumptions
- Single shot: about 1 oz of tank water
- Double shot: about 2 oz of tank water
- Latte: about 2 oz of tank water, plus 1 oz for steam
